Company will exchange light bulbs for energy-efficient ones

The Electronic Disposal Group, a San Diego-based recycling company, is planning an event that will allow people to exchange incandescent light bulbs for free energy-efficient light bulbs.

The exchange is planned for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Aug. 24 at Wal-Mart’s southwest parking lot, 605 Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon.

The event is free and open to all county residents, but Electronic Disposal Group won’t accept batteries or household appliances. More information is available at (858) 271-1616 or electronicdisposalgroup.com.
