Thursday, December 11th 2008

Composite Technology Corporation announce that its CTC Cable subsidiary has signed agreements with an overhead conductor manufacturer in Indonesia. In addition to setting out the process for the qualification of the manufacturer of ACCC™ conductor by stranding aluminum wire around ACCC™ core made by CTC Cable, the agreement with PT KMI Wire and Cable governs the commercial aluminum stranding of ACCC™ conductors for the Indonesian market and establishes terms to provide stranding services for CTC Cable to export to other markets.

The full operation of the agreement is contingent upon the Indonesian manufacturer passing qualification requirements successfully. PT KMI Wire and Cable has already manufactured qualification samples and it is anticipated the company will complete the process of qualification in the first half of calendar 2009. ACCC™ composite core production will remain at CTC Cable’s ISO 9001:2000 certified facilities in Irvine, CA, where capacities have been expanded in recent months in anticipation of increased demand. The agreement provides for the stranding conductor manufacturer to assume much of the Indonesian country risks of foreign exchange and payment making the servicing of the market by CTC Cable simpler and more effective. CTC Cable will continue to provide support and training of installers in the Indonesian market.

“We believe the Indonesian market will provide a substantial number of opportunities for CTC Cable over the next two years. We are pleased to position ACCC™ conductor for this market through the local stranding of ACCC™ conductor by this high quality producer,” commented Marv Sepe, President of CTC Cable and COO of Composite Technology Corporation.
