Global Wind Corporation announced that it has begun evaluating locations for the development of wind energy in Israel. The Company is evaluating wind patterns, energy infrastructure and security issues related to the development of wind power generation facilities in the region.
“Wind is a cost-efficient source of alternative electrical power well suited for nations with minimal natural gas or coal reserves,” noted Alon Razela, CEO of GWND. “Once the capital costs of developing the wind farm are covered, the cost of energy production is exceptionally low,” he added. “We expect to identify sites where the demand for electricity is high and the price per Kwh provides an attractive profit for our company,” he concluded.
Global Wind Corporation is a wind technology company developing new wind technologies as well as a wind project developer currently evaluating opportunities in Israel to install its first wind farm.
