ilumisys, Inc., developer and producer of next-generation solid-state lighting technology, announces that IHNcorp and Ecogreen Solutions Inc. are now channel partners and retrofit suppliers of ilumisys lighting.

Orange County-based IHNcorp and its subsidiary Ecogreen Solutions Inc. now offer the ilumisys line of alternative energy lighting products — including patented light emitting diode (LED) tubes — designed to directly replace standard T8 and T12 fluorescent tubes. Unlike the fluorescent tubes they replace, the ilumisys MK1 tubes are mercury-free in addition to providing an energy-efficient alternative.

Servicing California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii, IHNcorp will handle the sales and marketing function and Ecogreen Solutions will install ilumisys lighting, manage service contracts and warranties and support the end-customer.

“IHNcorp and Ecogreen Solutions have partnered with ilumisys due to its quality design, manufacturing, market leadership and support of its incredible patented products,” said Anthony Mitchell, managing director of IHNcorp. “IHNcorp, Ecogreen and ilumisys all seek to change the face of solid-state lighting for future generations, reducing our carbon footprint on the world today.”

The next generation solid state lighting created by ilumisys offers an easy transition from traditional fluorescent lighting while taking full advantage of attributes of light-emitting diodes including long life, temperature robustness, vibration tolerance and energy efficiency.

“IHNcorp and Ecogreen’s goals align with ilumisys to revolutionize eco-friendly lighting solutions,” said Dave Simon, president of ilumisys. “Working with IHNcorp and Ecogreen will extend the geographic reach of our products and sets ilumisys on the path to continued market leadership in fluorescent lighting alternatives.”

Patented circuitry enables ilumisys MK1 LEDs to operate in existing fluorescent fixtures, without modifications to the fixtures or ballasts, allowing users to simply remove an existing fluorescent tube and drop in the ilumisys MK1 product. The ilumisys MK2 runs off of 120 VAC and 277 VAC building currents.
