SymPowerco Corporation CEO John Davenport announces that the company is in receipt of a secondary review of its application for a series of development grants from a major North American Government Agency. SymPowerco is in the final stages of the grant application process after having submitted its application to a rigorous academic and industrial peer review.
The peer review has generated what is expected to be a final set of technical questions that the grant committee requires to reach its decision. The company will immediately prepare its responses and submit them to the committee.
Government grant applications require the preparation and submission of extensive information including the current state of the technology, projected research and development objectives, projected costs of achieving these objectives, analysis of manufacturing requirements and analyses of the markets for which the technology is intended.
Stated SymPowerco CEO, John Davenport, “We believe that our Flowing Electrolyte Direct Methanol Fuel Cell technology can be the power supply of choice for a host of personal electric vehicles and other power requirements. The application process for development grants can be lengthy but we believe we are in the late stages of this process. We are encouraged by the insightful and comprehensive review we have received and we will work to complete the process in an expedited manner.”
SymPowerco Corporation develops advanced fuel cell and power delivery systems for the rapidly growing personal transportation and portable power system markets being created by today’s energy and environmental challenges.
