Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. announced it is now transporting commercial batches of denatured ethanol along with gasoline shipments in its 16-inch Central Florida Pipeline (CFPL) between Tampa and Orlando, Fla., making CFPL the first transmarket gasoline pipeline in the United States to do so. Duke Energy has signed a contract with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for the disposal of used nuclear fuel generated at its proposed William States Lee III Nuclear Station. The contract provides for the DOE’s acceptance and permanent disposal of all fuel from the station.
