Vattenfall Sells Hillerod CHP Station

Vattenfall has signed a deal to sell Hillerød Combined Heat and Power Station in Denmark The buyer of the CHP station and the northbound heat transmission line is Hillerød Forsyning. Simultaneously a deal has been struck with Vestforbrænding on buying a southbound heat transmission line from Hillerød CHP station. Atlas Copco has won a multi-million USD contract to supply six turboexpander compressors for a new type of application related to liquefied natural gas (LNG). Vattenfall has acquired the Thanet Offshore Wind project off Margate, Kent, for the sum of GBP 35 million (SEK 435 million). On completion, the wind farm will have an installed capacity of some 300 MW.
