Eltek Valere, a leading power system provider for telecommunication and industrial applications, today announced the 3030 cabinet family, a line of outdoor telecommunications equipment enclosures with a variety of environmental systems that can reduce operating expenses and boost reliability.

A key component of the 3030 cabinet family is the tailored thermal system, which includes air conditioners, heat exchangers and heaters. Carriers can use this advanced thermal system to choose the most cost-effective means to provide consistent environmental conditions for reliable equipment operation regardless of weather conditions.

The 3030 cabinet family is the latest addition to Eltek Valere’s existing Site Support line of outdoor enclosures.

“Carriers are taking a different look at how they deploy outside plants and are more carefully planning their environmental systems to reduce their energy use and positively impact both their operating expenses and the environment,” said Armin Paya, Manager of Product Management for Eltek Valere. “The 3030 cabinets are purpose-built for this new environment with all of the features needed to set the standard for these advanced applications.”

The 3030 cabinet family can be ordered with an internal rack that is either 40 rack unit (RU), 30RU or 20 RU high. All products contain heavy-duty 23-inch wide rack space with mid-mount or flush-mount rails and a 12-position copper group buss. Additionally, the 3030 cabinet family contains a smoke alarm and a door alarm with temporary defeat. The cabinet family is designed to meet GR-487 CORE environmental standards.

Optional features include various air conditioner options and a heat exchanger option, DC venting systems, mounting plinth, top and side cable access, modular protection panels.

All models of the 3030 cabinet family are immediately available from Eltek Valere sales force and reseller partners worldwide.

Eltek Valere, headquartered in Richardson, TX, was formed from the June 2007 merger of Eltek Energy and Valere Power.
